Is the Stock Market Open on Weekends?
No. The stock market is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The NYSE and Nasdaq trade Monday to Friday only, 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET, and there is no weekend session on either exchange.

What traders should know about Weekends
The trading week ends with Friday's 4:00 p.m. ET closing bell and after-hours session, and begins again with pre-market trading at 4:00 a.m. ET on Monday. Orders placed over the weekend queue at your broker and are sent to the exchange when the next session opens.
Some brokers advertise overnight or weekend trading in a limited list of stocks and ETFs. Those trades take place on alternative trading systems, not on the NYSE or Nasdaq, with thinner liquidity and wider spreads. The exchanges themselves are closed.
The markets that do trade on weekends are crypto, which never closes, and, from Sunday evening, index futures and forex: CME Globex reopens at 6:00 p.m. ET on Sunday and the forex market at 5:00 p.m. ET. That is where the first reaction to weekend news shows up before Monday's opening bell.
